M W Foundation Newsletter

I would first like to start out by apologizing that this newsletter will not be nearly as fancy as Bonnie’s newsletters. We have a new website that Don has been so gracious to take care of. The address is:  www.mwfqhra.com.  Please check it out for show and other information. 

Show Information:

Our up and coming shows are: June 14th, 2008 @ Route 66 Arena in Miller, MO (Jimmy Parnell's) and Oct 11th, 2008 Show  @ Route 66 Arena in Miller, MO (Jimmy Parnell's).  The April show went really well.  The weather was nice despite all of the rain in April.   We made money off of the show thanks to having a good turnout.  The all breed classes were a success and we gained membership from having these classes.  We missed some of our members that have shown in the past and hope you all show up for the June 14th and Oct 11th shows.  We need volunteers to help out so please contact the show manager for the show if you can help out.  Please don’t feel like you have to help for the whole show and if at the show you see we are short staffed feel free to jump in and help. For June, I still need an announcer and ring steward.  My husband, James, is going to run the office.  I will need help setting up for classes. 

Please pre-enter if you can, this helps out in so many ways.  If you need me to hold your check until after the show please just write a note on your entry form. 

Horse Fest:

Horse Fest was a huge success we gained members and stirred up interest in our organization.  The FQHR is a great organization and anything we can do to get the word out is essential.  Thank you to the volunteers who helped man the booth!
